Home

Well, I'm home from my parent's house. My wonderful mother is here with me right now, which is nice. My husband is not here. I called him on my way home and he said he was at his alibi friend's house doing his fantasy football draft. I was feeling okay about this until I started doing some laundry and other household chores and found his wedding ring sitting on the nightstand next to the guest bed (where he has been sleeping). Now, of course, my wind is racing. He NEVER takes it off - not to take a shower or anything. Why is he not wearing it??? What does this mean??? Why today, of all days, did he choose not to put it on? I am feeling very sad and alone right now, which is odd because my mother is sitting less than two-feet away from me. I HATE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I had not read your weekend blogs when I saw you this morning and asked how you were doing. I can only imagine your confusion right now. I hope for your sake things start to work themselves out in whatever way they are meant to be.
    When I want control over a situation that cannot be controlled, I pray the serenity prayer...God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

    Be relieved that this happened now...not when you discovered you were pregnant or after a family had begun. It is best for you, and your future children. Your life can and will still be all the things you want it to be. Whether it includes him or not. I TRULY believe in "everything happens for a reason." Sometimes we just have to get through the hell first to find what the reason was
